HOW TO GET EWS (ECONOMICALLY WEAKER SECTIONS) CERTIFICATE IN EASY WAY:

The government of India has given 10% reservations to economically weaker sections. The reservations are for only educational and employment purposes. Here, in this article, I will tell you about how to apply for EWS Certificate online and off-line mode. If you want to get EWS reservation, you should satisfy the following criteria:

1) less than 5acres of agricultural land.

2) Residential flat of less than 1000 sq.ft.

3) Residential plot of less than100 sq.yards in notified municipalities.

4) You should not belong to SC, ST and BC/OBC caste.

5) Residential plot of fewer than 200 sq.yards in other than notified municipalities.

6) Your family income should be less than 8lakhs per annum.

If you satisfy the above conditions, then you are eligible to apply for EWS certificate.

 PROCEDURE TO APPLY FOR EWS CERTIFICATE :

 First get notary from a registered lawyer that you are eligible for the gen-EWS certificate. If you do not know how to get notary, visit nearby court then you can get it. Later go to nearby mee seva. And apply for ews certificate.

Documents that have to be taken to the mee seva center are:

  1. Notary

2. Aadhar card

3. Ration card

4. 10th class T.C (original or Xerox)

5. Photo of applicant

At mee seva center, they will give you the EWS application form. Fill it and attach your photo on it.later hand it over to mee seva assistant and other documents necessary.he will upload the documents and apply for EWS certificate and finally gives you a receipt mentioning your details about the certificate like transaction id, application no. etc…  save the receipt for future reference. 

Next, go to ur VRO office and he will give you a declaration that you belong to ews category after submitting required documents related to your land and house on your guardian’s name if you are a minor(below 18 years). Later attach all documents and submit to MRO ( mandal revenue officer).  Later he will issue ews certificate after verifying all documents.you can collect your ews certificate at mee seva by showing the receipt they had given.

After completion of your submission you can check the status of your EWS certificate from mee seva official website from here @ mee seva.apgov.in
